These Terms and Conditions govern all vehicle purchase transactions between CIG Automobiles (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) and the client (hereinafter referred to as “the Client”). By proceeding with any vehicle purchase, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be fully bound by these terms.
Payment Plan Review
CIG Automobiles offers three (3) structured payment options to accommodate the needs of different clients. All payments must be made in the agreed currency and through approved payment channels.
Standard Plan (Client-Managed Clearing)
Initial Deposit: 70% of the total vehicle cost, inclusive of shipping charges.
Balance Payment: The remaining 30% must be paid in full before the vehicle is released or handed over to the Client.
Duty & Clearing: The Client is solely responsible for all import duty payments and customs clearing at the port of entry. CIG Automobiles assumes no liability for delays or costs arising from the Client's clearing process.
Full-Service Plan (CIG-Managed Clearing)
Initial Deposit: 70% of the total cost, covering the vehicle price, shipping, and import duty charges.
Balance Payment: The remaining 30% must be paid in full before the vehicle is released or handed over to the Client.
Duty & Clearing: CIG Automobiles will manage all customs documentation and port clearing on behalf of the Client. Any unforeseen port charges not included in the initial quote shall be communicated to the Client promptly.
Government Worker Installment Plan
Initial Deposit: 70% of the total vehicle cost, inclusive of shipping charges.
Balance Payment: The remaining 30% must be paid in full before the vehicle is released or handed over to the Client.
Duty & Clearing: The Client is solely responsible for all import duty payments and customs clearing at the port of entry. CIG Automobiles assumes no liability for delays or costs arising from the Client's clearing process.

General Payment Condition
All prices quoted are subject to change until a formal invoice is issued and a deposit is received
The Company reserves the right to cancel a transaction if the initial deposit is not received within five (5) business days of invoice issuance.
Payments must be made via approved channels only (bank transfer, mobile money, or as otherwise specified by the Company). Cash payments above a specified threshold must comply with applicable regulations.
All payments are non-refundable once vehicle procurement or shipping has commenced, unless the Company is at fault.
A payment receipt will be issued by the Company for every payment made. Clients are advised to retain all receipts as proof of payment.
Vehicle Handover
The vehicle will only be released to the Client upon full and final settlement of all outstanding balances.
The Company will notify the Client when the vehicle is ready for collection. The Client must arrange collection within a reasonable time frame as communicated.
Risk of loss or damage to the vehicle passes to the Client at the point of handover.
The Client is responsible for registering the vehicle and obtaining insurance upon receipt.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping timelines are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside the Company's control (e.g., port congestion, weather, customs delays).
The Company will provide the Client with regular updates on the status of their vehicle shipment.
Any additional costs incurred due to unforeseen shipping complications will be communicated to the Client in advance.
Under Option 1, the Client accepts full responsibility for port-related risks once the vessel arrives at the destination port.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between both parties.
Where negotiation fails, the matter shall be referred to mediation or arbitration under the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana.
